Hospital Healthcare Furniture
The hospital provides one of the largest renal units in Europe and the 2nd largest paediatric centre in London. There are also specialist women's facilities and general hospital healthcare services for the City of London and Tower Hamlets. This is now the leading emergency care centre in the UK with London's Air Ambulance facility (HEMS) based on the roof to provide faster emergency access.
This is a Skanska Innisfree P3 project, and combined with improvements and rebuilding at St Bartholemews Hospital, is transforming healthcare facilities in the capital.
Deanestor continue to install healthcare furniture on stage two of this large £650m project.
Last year Deanestor won the 'Health, Safety & the Environment Award' from Skanska for our Hospital Furniture installation work on the 290 bed St Barts Hospital project.
This will become the Cardiac and Cancer Centre of Excellence and also maintain its' status as a teaching hospital. Deanestor have installed healthcare furniture and HTM63 and HTM71 furniture into the new building, and a refurbished older building integrated into the new Hospital. Further construction work includes building renovation and refurbishment for a new catering facility and extension and refurbishment of staff residences.
The Central London location of the project provided no problems for Deanestor. As leading Healthcare and Hospital furniture manufacturers, we work all over the UK and Ireland on new build and renovation projects. Deanestor were selected for the project due to our knowledge and experience of manufacturing quality healthcare furniture and many years' experience of project management for large new hospital furniture installations.
The combined Royal London and St Barts project is the largest PFI in the UK and Deanestor are proud to be supplying furniture for this prestigious build.
