Deanestor Hands Over its First Higher Education Fitout Project in Scotland

Deanestor has handed over its third fitout project for Multiplex in Scotland - the new Clarice Pears Institute of Health and Wellbeing

Deanestor has provided fitted furniture and specialist joinery for the new Clarice Pears Institute of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow.

The Fitout Project

Working once again with Multiplex, its teams fitted out 42 rooms over 5 storeys and installed over 700 items of bespoke education furniture – from reception desks and storage solutions to meeting booths, benching, desks, tables and kitchenettes.

As a solutions driven furniture manufacture, Deanestor always aims to complete all fitout projects to the highest standards such as this furniture fitout within the educational sector. We aim to not only deliver quality furniture solutions, but also furniture which fits the colour themes for the specifications given.

This was Deanestor's third project for Multiplex in Scotland, following our health care fitout work at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow and the Royal Hospital for Children in Edinburgh.

The £50m scheme is located on the new Gilmorehill Campus in the Hillhead area of Glasgow.

Designed by Atkins, the Clarice Pears Institute brings together academic and support staff from 10 different sites into a single multi-disciplinary centre which will facilitate world-changing research and the exchange of knowledge.
