Due for completion this summer, Skye, Lochalsh and South West Ross Community Hospital is now under construction by Balfour Beatty.
The £15m community hospital at Broadford on the Isle of Skye is being delivered by hub North Scotland for NHS Highland.
This latest FF&E contract awarded to Deanestor follows the successful completion of a number of earlier projects for Balfour Beatty.
The new facility will bring significant benefits to the local community. It will have 24 in-patient beds, a midwife-led maternity unit, minor injuries unit, dental surgery, X-ray and ultrasound services.
Deanestor is fitting out 142 rooms with bespoke fitted furniture such as storage cabinets, height-adjustable benching, foldaway beds, sinks and hoists – all in full compliance with SHTMs and HAI-Scribe requirements.
The architects are Oberlanders Architects and Rural Design.
